Your Mission: As the Technical Lead, you will oversee and participate in the technical aspects of our products - unique training simulators for security forces all over the world. You will ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions by working closely with our expert teams of designers, developers, and project managers, participating in product development from design specification and prototyping to final production and delivery. This role combines management of the project (app. 60%) and deep technical understanding and partially hands-on development (app . 40%). It will require a mix of leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of engineering principles.

About Us: Bagira Tech is a Czech-Israeli company with 80 employees in Brno, specializing in the development of unique training simulators (both software and hardware) for security forces. Our projects include the MAGNET system, which uses a laser system to replace blank cartridges and simulators for professional military devices. Our hardware development is entirely based in Brno, while software development is split between Brno and Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate technical direction and vision of our products and projects
• Make architecture and design decisions
• Engage in hands-on development, research and prototyping (
• Analyze features and create high-level designs
• Lead stand-ups and agile ceremonies
• Coordinate cross-functional activities between developers and other stakeholders
• Plan technical tasks and assign them to team members
• Write detailed work item descriptions for developers and guide test design

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in cloud systems engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership/PO role
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with hands-on experience in cloud architecture
• Proficiency in backend development with C#, including API development and database management
• Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue) and best practices for UI/UX design
• Solid understanding of microservices, serverless computing, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability to fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills, with the ability to mentor and inspire a technical team
• Fluent English and Czech (or Slovak)
• University degree in Computer Science, SWEngineering, or a related field - preferred
