About The Position
As a Simulator & Training Operator, you will manage and operate Bagira's simulators to train individuals and teams in land warfare. Your primary responsibility is to ensure smooth simulator operations and provide mission-ready training experiences for Royal Netherlands Army personnel.
Your success will be measured by maximizing simulator operating hours, maintaining equipment, and receiving positive user feedback.
This role requires knowledge of land warfare techniques and doctrines, as your work directly impacts force preparedness and training quality.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the leading authority on our simulation systems, offering guidance and training.
- Serve as the Site Manager, overseeing simulator operations and maintenance.
- Ensure all simulation equipment and training staff are mission-ready across sites.
- Work with military personnel to customize training based on specific objectives.
- Lead immersive training sessions with hands-on instruction.
- Develop and deliver engaging presentations and training materials.
- Engage in proactive stakeholder communication to ensure responsive and exemplary service
Location: This position is in army bases in the Netherlands, primarily near Harskamp, Amersfoort, Arnhem, and Zwolle. Regular travel to other nearby bases within the Netherlands may be required.
Requirements
- Military experience is preferred.
- Instructional solid skills, with experience in PowerPoint presentations.
- Effective communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, delivering high-quality results.
- Results-oriented, committed to achieving full site availability and training support.
- Technologically adept, with a willingness to learn new systems.
- Fluent in English (Dutch proficiency is a plus).
- A valid driver’s license for required travel between sites.
- The candidate should live in the Netherlands with a Dutch or other EU passport.
