About The Position
Bagira is a leader in the field of training and simulation systems with a track record of delivering high-end, customized, cost-effective solutions for mission readiness. Bagira’s simulators are being used by hundreds of thousands of soldiers at more than 40 sites worldwide.
Bagira is looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our engineering team at Bagira.
You will lead the end to end technical delivery of our projects shaping the company’s new innovative cutting-edge simulation products.
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the development process starting from the requirements definitions, and planning phase, through the development and testing process to the successful deployment of our Service.
You will be working closely with the development team, product managers, project management and with our customers to ensure the successful launch and assimilation of our projects/ products.
What will your job look like
- Full end-to-end responsibility for the delivery of Bagira’s products
- Overall ownership of the solution architecture
- Defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities
- Maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team
- Produce valuable content for our customers
- Full accountability of the product design and requirements
- Be the central focal point for all parties; Engineering, QA, marketing, and project managers
- Analyze product business requirements and produce a functional design
- Utilize deep knowledge of the product and its use by customers , explain the requirements and answer any functional questions
Requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and management/ technical project management
- Experience as functional analyst/product owner/business analyst/product management, in the software industry. Experience in writing functional designs
- Experience with designing architectures for complex systems
- Experience with managing and working with the subcontractors
- Proven technical skills and self-learning ability, capable of thoroughly understanding the functional and technical aspects of a complex system
- Proven matrix managerial experience
- Proactive, highly motivated individual with a serious work ethic and goal-oriented approach
- BSc in computer-science/engineering, or 3-5 years hands-on experience in software development
- Agile experience - advantage
